Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in fast-paced weekend environment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency situations with clinical expertise
- Mentor new staff and uphold safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN)
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun + 1 weekday)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
