Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations utilizing appropriate protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with flexibility.
