Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, escalating care immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of care plans and discharge instructions.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, including experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
