Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes promptly
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge plans
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years acute care experience)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute care or telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
