Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document clinical observations accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in weekend shift rotations covering 12-hour shifts (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (medical-surgical preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities
