Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in electronic medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
