Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and daily living activities as needed.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or charge nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Virginia.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a focus on quality care.
