Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients
- Administer medications and perform complex procedures per protocol
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient treatment plans
- Monitor and interpret EKGs, hemodynamic monitoring, and lab results
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU or cardiac telemetry experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
