Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols
- Maintain infection control practices and ensure a sterile environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday, 7a-7p)
