Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care and treatment plans within the scope of nursing practice.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, escalating concerns immediately to the charge nurse or provider.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting all actions in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
