Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status continuously, alerting the charge nurse to any changes.
- Document patient care, observations, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
