Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the weekend shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide clear and compassionate education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and clinical notes.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong critical care or medical-surgical background.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
