Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians while closely monitoring patient responses.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators to detect changes in patient condition requiring immediate intervention.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for critical care units.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Masterβs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards.
