Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient conditions, interventions, and progress notes.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Availability: Ability to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
