Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and general surgery
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress using advanced EHR systems
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new staff and uphold strict compliance with JCAHO standards
- Participate in weekend-only rotational coverage for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Experience with electronic medical documentation
- Flexibility to cover varied weekend schedules
