Responsibilities
- Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health documentation.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
