Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient condition requiring immediate intervention.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and completely in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance, ensuring a safe and healing environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (CA RN License).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high-volume weekend shift team.
