Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, responding promptly to any changes or clinical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced weekend environment.
