Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and code situations.
- Educate patients and families regarding discharge planning and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
