Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessment, monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient needs during weekends.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with weekend shift experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team.
