Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient assessment, care planning, and intervention for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Utilize advanced nursing skills in emergency and critical care scenarios
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with BLS certification
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU setting
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun, 12-hour shifts)
- Exceptional communication and patient advocacy skills
