Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient emergencies.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care and wellness.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
