Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and monitor vital signs according to hospital protocols.
- Manage Shifts Effectively: Ensure smooth handoffs during weekend shifts and maintain accurate documentation.
- Utilize Telehealth Platforms: Conduct virtual consultations and remote patient monitoring for eligible patients.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Emergency Response: React swiftly to medical emergencies and patient crises within the unit or virtual setting.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all state regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (MO).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Remote Capability: Reliable high-speed internet and a private workspace for remote positions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating weekends and flexible hours as needed.
