Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated RNs to cover our weekend shifts, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care even on days off for other departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue activations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
- Current PPD/TB test and immunization records on file.
