Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report any changes or adverse reactions to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
