Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions closely to ensure safety and rapid response to changes.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Document patient care plans, medical histories, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to develop optimal care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during treatment.
- Assist in code situations and perform emergency interventions when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
