Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR systems with precision
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced emergency care environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Associate's degree or equivalent from accredited program
