Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes or deterioration to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain updated electronic health records.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Uphold strict infection control and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS certification is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
