Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying changes that require immediate medical intervention.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment that adheres to all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
