Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with the State of Colorado
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN required, BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
