Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute/critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients/families on treatment plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and NC Board of Nursing standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (or compact state)
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- 1+ years acute care experience
- BLS/Certification required (ACLS/PALS preferred)
- Strong EHR proficiency (EPIC/Cerner a plus)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
