Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health conditions, medical histories, and needs to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care services, including changes in patient condition, in accordance with medical records policies.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm and effective decision-making skills.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient advocacy.
