Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any critical changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Provide compassionate education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
