We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is committed to patient safety, possesses strong clinical judgment, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, medications, and care provided.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
