Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring of vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient history, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and code blue situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
