Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, history, and strengths to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs, intervening immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Document all patient care activities, including interventions and responses, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
