Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and document patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any changes in condition or emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (IL or FL).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Travel/Contract experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
