Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients in home settings
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor health status and report changes to care team promptly
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain organized living spaces
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and TB test
- Compassionate personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of senior care protocols and safety procedures
- Flexibility to accommodate client schedules including evenings/weekends
- Proficiency in using care documentation apps and telehealth tools
