Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument sterilization and patient preparation
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via remote systems
- Perform chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education materials
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- 2+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to handle confidential information remotely
