Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures with precision and efficiency
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via our cloud-based systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take digital radiographs and impressions with remote guidance when needed
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients virtually or in-person
- Order supplies and maintain inventory management through our online portal
- Collaborate with specialists using telehealth platforms for case coordination
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Virginia (DA, RDA, or EFDA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Experience with digital imaging (CBCT, intraoral cameras)
- Strong telehealth communication skills and remote work adaptability
- CPR/BLS certification and infection control expertise
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
