Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and scheduling via our cloud-based practice management software
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments while ensuring optimal inventory levels
- Provide remote patient education via secure telehealth portals for pre/post-operative care
- Coordinate with insurance providers and handle billing documentation remotely
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or comparable dental software
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with teledentistry platforms and remote documentation systems
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to manage hybrid workflow between clinical and remote tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to HIPAA compliance
