Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures, including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling through our remote portal
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments and take digital radiographs
- Process insurance claims and billing documentation remotely
- Assist with patient education materials and post-op care instructions
- Coordinate with specialists and laboratories for seamless case management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Virginia (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong digital literacy for remote administrative tasks
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
