Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify medications via telehealth platform with remote oversight
- Collaborate with pharmacists during on-site shifts for critical patient consultations
- Maintain precise electronic health records and inventory management systems
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication protocols and usage
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for prescription clarification and adjustments
- Support medication therapy management programs remotely
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in telehealth software and digital pharmacy systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and medication safety protocols
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to travel to Lexington facility 1-2 days weekly
- CPR certification preferred
- Experience with Epic pharmacy systems a plus
