Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescription orders and safety protocols
- Maintain digital inventory systems and pharmaceutical supply chain management
- Provide exceptional telehealth consultations and medication counseling to patients
- Collaborate with pharmacists on complex medication therapy management cases
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all digital patient interactions and record-keeping
- Conduct quality assurance checks on compounded and packaged medications
- Train on proprietary pharmacy software and remote work technologies
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and medication verification skills
- Strong telehealth communication and digital documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Knowledge of CA pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements
