Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process, label, and transport specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Conduct virtual patient consultations and pre-draw assessments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with lab teams for result reporting and quality control
- Train patients on at-home specimen collection procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficient in telehealth software and EHR systems
- Strong venipuncture skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage remote workflows
- Valid driver's license for specimen transport
