Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process, label, and transport specimens to our central lab with strict adherence to protocols
- Conduct remote patient consultations for pre-procedure instructions and result discussions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with remote healthcare teams for complex case reviews
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA regulations
- Train on-site staff in phlebotomy best practices and new technologies
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote documentation systems
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
- Valid Oregon state phlebotomy license
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
