Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision and compassion
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and documentation following HIPAA protocols
- Utilize LIS systems for data entry and remote patient record management
- Collaborate with lab teams via digital platforms for quality assurance
- Maintain sterile equipment and inventory through remote inventory management systems
- Provide patient education on procedures through telehealth interfaces
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, AMT, or NHA)
- 1+ years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining HIPAA compliance
