Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections using standard techniques
- Process and label specimens with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations and scheduling
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Transport specimens securely to testing facilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with remote healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficient with telehealth technologies and EHR systems
- Valid CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation for specimen transport (mileage reimbursed)
