Responsibilities

- Resolve claim denials and rejections through appeals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports
- Collaborate with clinical staff on documentation accuracy
- Stay current with coding updates (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Athena, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
