Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections in patient homes and clinical settings
- Process and ship specimens to central laboratories using temperature-controlled packaging
- Conduct remote patient consultations via our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and inventory logs in our cloud-based system
- Train patients on at-home collection procedures for chronic condition monitoring
- Collaborate with virtual healthcare teams to optimize patient care pathways
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Phlebotomy Technician certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical blood collection experience
- Proficiency with telehealth software and remote monitoring devices
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with LIS/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
